TVN TRIUMPHS IN „INVESTIGATIVE JOURNALISM”
Alicja Krystyniak and Jakub Stachowiak, Superwizjer journalists were acknowledged with the Grand Press 2011 Award in the „Investigative Journalism” category.
Alicja Krystyniak and Jakub Stachowiak were awarded for the ”Po co nam ta casa?” reportage revealing puzzling connections between Chief of the Polish Air Force and representative of the Spanish company Casa. Casa won the tender for delivery of the aircrafts to the Polish Army, despite the fact that its offer was not the most favorable.
Grand Pres Award is intended for journalists who embody highest professional and ethical standards and their work is unique and socially important.
The contest has been organized since 1997 by the Press monthly. 733 media messages were submitted in this years Grand Press Awards. Apart from the “Journalist of the Year” title, the awards were given in 8 categories – “News”, “Investigative Journalism”, “Socio-political Journalism”, “Press Reportage”, “Radio Reportage”, “TV Reportage”, “Interview” and “Specialised Journalism”.
