The eight-episode series will take viewers to the titular Lipowo - a small, sleepy town in Kujawy, surrounded by picturesque forests and lakes. Life here resembles an idyll, everyone knows each other, respects each other, likes them more or less, and the voice of conscience is the local parish priest. In fact, a thick fog of mystery hangs over the peaceful Lipowo, which has been shrouded in the town for years and has become part of its landscape.

The local people have perfectly learned to function in it, playing the game of appearances and perfectly protecting the secrets of their neighbors and, above all, their own. Two religious worlds also meet on the territory of Lipowo: during the day Christian in the local parish and convent, at night - pagan in the famous Witches' Glade on the outskirts of the village.

One day, Weronika Nowakowska comes to the town, a writer running away from life and the troubles she left behind in the capital. Shortly after her arrival, tragic events take place - a sister from a local convent with vows of silence dies. The head of the local police, young and ambitious Daniel Podgórski, seeing Weronika's commitment, decides on a very brave move - against all odds, he draws her into the case. With each passing day, the woman begins to discover more secrets of the town. The writer must bring to light the deeply hidden secrets of the inhabitants of Lipowo, but also face her own past. And above all, break the conspiracy of silence.
