Andrei is a young rapper from Belarus who had to escape from his country fearing for his life. He found refuge in Poland, where he, together with tens of thousands of young Belarusians, is now trying to rebuild his life. He works here on a daily basis in the NEXTA editorial office - an independent Belarusian media outlet - where he is now one of the faces of the fight against the Lukashenko regime. Away from his family and with a lifetime ban on returning to his home country, Andrei is trying to balance between following his dreams and the fight for freedom of his homeland. Yet, this is made no easier by the Russian invasion of Ukraine and an unexpected opportunity to travel further on.
