Documentary tells the story of a young man from Poland serving sentence in Latin American prison for drug trafficking. Maciek broke the law only once. Like many others he had to pay the price for this reckless decision.

Caught by the Peruvian police Maciek got arrested and accused of smuggling drugs. For six long years he had to face cruelty and abuse in one of the toughest prisons in Peru. Violence, murders, fear are there everyday experiences. To stay alive he was forced to join prison mafia. Even though he was released, he still lives in fear for his live and now has to pay thousands of dollars for his stay in Peruvian penitentiary. He doubts if he’ll ever return home.
