A six-episode story set simultaneously in the interwar period and nowadays, which intriguingly combines the perspective of tradition with modernity. The diary of Maria Kielicz, which accidentally falls into the hands of a young architecture student, Zosia, is the clamp that binds two female stories in "The Formula". Along with its pages, a story about dilemmas, ambitions and romantic choices of women looking for the truth about themselves develops. Zosia discovers the story of her great-grandmother. In 1936, Maria, a single mother with a degree in architecture, comes to the interwar capital to start a new life. In Warsaw, a woman becomes Jan Wedel's assistant. She quickly becomes his trusted employee and confidant of the secrets of the most thriving chocolate factory in Europe.
