In 1905 Jan Edigey - Korycki returns to his home town to solve the case of disturbing murder of his mother. To find the killer he joins forces with an old friend Henryk and his sister Weronika. Together they run first forensic laboratory in Galicia. During his stay in Crakow Jan meets his long lost love – Konstancja. The ten part costume/crime series produced in 2016 inspired by true events reveals the unknown face of this period in European history, where behind the prosperity and social splendor there were brutal murders, sophisticated intrigues and dreadful crimes.
