"Under the surface" touches on dark secrets behind closed doors of our homes. Lies for which you pay the highest price, and sins that destroy us. How well do we know our loved ones? This series will draw viewers into a mysteriously intertwined relationship between its four main characters. A seemingly loving married couple hides a secret from the world. A father and a rebellious teenager are trying to make a family again. One day, at the end of summer holidays, the paths of these four will cross and the inevitable meeting will give rise to stormy events. But the harder they try to build their new happy lives, the more they sink in their own weaknesses. And all this will lead to a crime...
