A perm straight from a Brazilian soap opera from the 1980s? A bun that looks more like a cocoon from a science fiction movie? Dirty scissors and a hair dryer from a previous era? This is the nightmare of many hairdressing salon customers. A new TVN Style program comes to the rescue - "The Hairdresser's Affair". Maciej Wróblewski, one of the best Polish hair stylists and the owner of a thriving salon in Warsaw, will save declining hairdressing salons. These will be both modest salons in small towns and places in large cities that do not generate income. Maciej comes to the hairdressing salon for three days of observation, and then begins to make changes. He becomes the boss for a while. He observes employees, tests their skills, checks occupational hygiene and hairdressing tools. He talks to dissatisfied customers. And then he takes action. The salon is handed over to the renovation team, and Maciej and the salon crew set off on a journey to learn the behind-the-scenes of the true art of hairdressing. They will help and learn during preparations for fashion shows, photo sessions and television programs. There, extreme tasks await our heroes: working under time pressure, styling precise hairstyles in difficult, stressful conditions, combing outdoors, serving customers when there is no electricity. How will their situation change after the program? How will residents of small towns react to the extravagant ideas of a hairdresser from Warsaw? Will they be able to master modern haircutting techniques?
